Pichwai Painting of Shreenathji The word Pichwai means 'hanging at the back' and is derived from the Sanskrit words 'Pich' which means back and 'Wai' means hanging. They describe the life events of Lord Krishna and are hung in temples behind the idol. The main theme of these paintings is Shrinathji and his Leelas (past times).

In the painting is a Madhubani Peacock and a Fish. Madhubani painting, also known as Mithila painting, is a traditional and intricate style of folk art that originates from the Mithila region of Bihar, India. This art form is characterized by its vibrant colors, geometric patterns, and the use of natural dyes. Madhubani paintings were first created at Mithila, the birthplace of Hindu goddess Sita. When Sita and her husband Prince Rama were to be married, King Janak, father of Sita, asked for paintings to capture moments of the marriage.

Tigers in Gond art form - Art practiced by the indigenous people living near Madhya Pradesh in Central India. They were also the storytellers of the villages, who would educate the younger generation about their mythology and culture. The Gond art originates in the wall decoration they used to make in their house as a part of their daily life. More artworks and art pieces coming up in the following weeks.
